Shortcuts can really time saver. While editing in adobe photoshop you may use different photoshop features. Photoshop incorporates 800+ keyboard shortcut keys for its majority of its functions. So definitely it optimize and speed up the work process, once you familiar with keyboard shortcuts. In-fact, I personally find myself frustrated with adobe photoshop until I master all the shortcut keys with it, After knowing most of the shortcut keys it greatly increased my speed of working.
